Alan Howard

Alan Howard is a British billionaire hedge fund manager, philanthropist, and co-founder of Brevan Howard, one of the world's largest global macro hedge funds. Born in London in 1963, Howard attended Imperial College London, where he graduated with a degree in Chemical Engineering.

After completing his education, Alan Howard started his career in finance at Salomon Brothers in 1986, working in bond trading. In 1991, he joined Credit Suisse First Boston, where he specialized in trading interest rate derivatives.
