Andrew Cecere

Andrew Cecere has been with U.S. Bank for over three decades and has held various leadership positions throughout his tenure. He was named the CEO of U.S. Bancorp in April 2017, succeeding Richard K. Davis. Prior to becoming the CEO, Cecere served as the President and Chief Operating Officer from January 2015 to April 2017, overseeing the bank's core businesses.

Before his role as President and COO, Andrew Cecere held several other executive positions at U.S. Bank, including Vice Chairman and Chief Financial Officer from 2007 to 2015, where he was responsible for managing the company's finances, balance sheet, and overall financial performance.

Cecere earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Finance from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota, and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Minnesota.

Throughout his career at U.S. Bank, Cecere has played an instrumental role in the bank's growth and strategic direction. He is known for his strong focus on customer service, risk management, and financial discipline. Under his leadership, U.S. Bank has remained one of the largest and most stable banking institutions in the United States.

In addition to his work at U.S. Bank, Andrew Cecere is involved in various civic and charitable organizations. He serves on the board of directors for several institutions, including the University of St. Thomas, the Guthrie Theater, and the Minnesota Orchestra.
