John Jack Schiff Sr.

John Jack Schiff Sr. was one of the founders of Cincinnati Financial Corporation, which was established in 1950. Schiff Sr., along with three of his associates, Robert C. Schiff, Robert M. Schiff, and LeRoy F. Schroeder, started the company with a vision of providing excellent local service and building strong agent relationships.

John Jack Schiff Sr. served as the Chairman of the company from its founding until 1989. Under his leadership, Cincinnati Financial Corporation grew and expanded its services, primarily focusing on property and casualty insurance. Schiff Sr. helped build a solid foundation for the company, enabling it to become one of the top 25 property and casualty insurers in the United States.

His son, John Jack Schiff Jr., followed in his father's footsteps and took over the company's leadership, serving as Chairman from 1990 to 2008.
