Laurence (Larry) D. Fink was the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of BlackRock, Inc., the world's largest asset management firm.
Larry Fink co-founded BlackRock in 1988, along with seven other partners, including Ralph Schlosstein, Robert Kapito, and Susan Wagner. The firm initially started as a risk management and fixed-income institutional asset manager. Over the years, BlackRock has grown exponentially through strategic acquisitions and expansion into various asset classes, becoming the largest asset manager globally, with trillions of dollars in assets under management.
