James Gamble (1803–1891) was an Irish-born American businessman and soap maker who co-founded Procter & Gamble (P&G) with his brother-in-law, William Procter, in 1837. P&G is now one of the world's largest and most successful consumer goods companies, known for its diverse range of products and innovative marketing strategies.
