Thomas M. Siebel is a renowned entrepreneur and business executive, best known as the founder, chairman, and CEO of C3.ai, an enterprise AI software provider.
Before founding C3.ai in 2009, Siebel was the founder of Siebel Systems, a prominent provider of customer relationship management (CRM) software that was acquired by Oracle Corporation in 2006.
Siebel started his career at Oracle Corporation in the early 1980s, where he rose to the rank of Executive Vice President before leaving to start his own company. He was instrumental in Oracle's meteoric growth during its early years.
Siebel holds a Bachelor of Arts in History, a Master's degree in Computer Science, and a Master's degree in Business Administration, all from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is also the author of several books, including "Digital Transformation: Survive and Thrive in an Era of Mass Extinction" (2019).
