Mather (1851 - 1931) was an American businessman who played a significant role in the founding of the Society for Savings, a predecessor of the present-day financial services company KeyCorp. Mather's efforts in developing the Society for Savings laid the foundation for what would eventually become one of the largest bank-based financial services companies in the United States.
