Marcos Galperin is the founder and CEO of MercadoLibre, Inc. (MELI), Latin America's largest e-commerce platform. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on October 31, 1971, Galperin grew up in a family with a strong entrepreneurial background. He studied economics at the Universidad de San Andrés in Argentina and later earned an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business in 1999.
